In Bad Boy, Jason chases brain-teaser clues around Derbyshire, relying on a 1996 A to Z road atlas, riding in a 1985 Ford Escort with Judy, who used to sing jingles for instant coffee, washing up liquid and incontinence pads. They end up in Bakewell, where Jason encounters an old foe...Arthur Braskey.

This is my own 1996 Road Atlas of Great Britain, and a page which shows you approximately where, in Derbyshire, Newlydale is located. You won't actually find it on the map, because Newlydale is fictitious. But it's fairly close to Matlock. And you can see two other locations Jason visits in his pursuit of clues...Tissington, near the bottom of the picture, in the middle; and Bakewell, up near the top, also in the middle.
